Ethical Living
The day before Christmas Eve I bought a book to entertain myself while I waited for Neil to meet me for lunch. This book was about one person’s attempt at living ethically for a year. Only it wasn’t so much living ethically, but asking the question “Is the truly ethical choice the right one for this situation?” I will admit that this book has made me ask many more questions than I have before, but ethical living is something that Neil and I have been thinking about for quite some time. It has inspired me to bring the questions to the forefront of my mind and to stop overlooking them because they don’t fit my tastebuds or pocketbook.
What I want to write about in this section of the wiki is the questions that we encounter, possibly our choices, and why. This is intended as a record for our thoughts, but I’m also interested to see if anyone else has something to say about any of the situations we consider.
